Dental Professionals of California has provided dental seminars for over 35 years!

We are very proud to have the finest faculty at Dental Professionals of California!

Our teaching staff and administrators are career professionals that are knowledgeable and possess the highest level of clinical expertise. They truly love sharing their knowledge through teaching and inspiring students to succeed in the dental assisting profession.

All of our instructors are practicing RDAEFs and RDAs who work in the most modern dental practices.  Many are bi-lingual and able to assist those students whose primary language is not English.

Julie Mendoza, RDAEF, our in office adminstrator is a carrer professional with over 30 years experience in education and dental assisting.  She is dedicated to advancing the professionalism and recognition of dental assistants throughout California.  Julie is available every day to address your educational needs and answer any question.  She provides the most current information on recent changes in the dental assisting scope of practice, information on RDAEF training etc.

The President and Founder of Dental Professionals of California is Barbara Blade, RDAEF, BA. She is a leading authority in dental education in California and brings the following accomplishments to this organization:

  • Legislative chairperson for organized dental assisting since 2002 and contributor to the changes affecting the dental assistant; permitted orthodontic assistant; permitted oral sedation assistant, RDA and RDAEF.
  • Dental assistant educator and psychology professor for over thirty years.
  • Coordinator and instructor for RDAEF program at UCLA School of Dentistry.
  • Author of dental textbooks, syllabi, DVD and other multmedia in dentistry.
  • Consultant for COMDA and Dental Board for the following:  program accreditation; state examinations, etc.
  • Dental consultants for educational programs in private and public educational programs.
